3 Sharpie Projects Kids Will Enjoy

A tin of vibrant Sharpies can keep my children busy for HOURS.

I'm not kidding. HOURS.

And that's ok.

A word of caution: Moms, you know you need to supervise your kids with Sharpies up until a certain age, right? I remember a certain four year old boy that was SO PLEASED he could write his name - that he wrote his sweet name IN SHARPIE ON HIS BRAND NEW JEANS. (not good)

How You Know Homeschool is "Working"

  

Wouldn't it be great if there was a formula for homeschool success?

If I do x and y and z, then our homeschool will be a success!   {I could probably make quite a bit of money if I ever developed that formula, right?}

Obviously, however, it isn't that simple. Homeschooling is such a subjective undertaking, and for a chronic Type A personality like myself this has been a tough pill to swallow.

Studying art isn't a strength of mine, and getting to know Kristen has been a blessing. Her blog is full of great ideas and I know you'll enjoy this guest post about fostering art appreciation with art books.  

 

Last year my mother-in-law, Carol, came over to our house holding a large, tattered book. “Ma Ma Ma!” my three children exclaimed as they ran to give her hugs and kisses. The kids then gathered around Grandma on the couch to see what was inside the big, mysterious book.
