Our Favorite Photos - Linking Up With The Homeschool Village
Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 7:18PM
The topic today at The Homeschool Village is "Yearbook" - sharing our favorite homeschool photos. I take pictures of EVERYTHING, so it's hard to narrow it down to a few of my favorites, but I will try!
The very first lapbook Miss B. completed!
Miss B and I at a fabulous butterfly house at the Margaret Strong Museum in Rochester, NY... our whole trip to NY was one huge educational field trip!
Gman working on his journal on our mock Lewis & Clarke Expedition
Brother and sister enjoying time together. I love that homeschooling has brought them closer.
My favorite craft we have done.... our Easter flowerpot with flowers representing devotions we did on the days leading up to Easter. It was so meaningful for all of us.

Did you go to the museum of fun in Rochester, NY? We were there in July (hubs aunt lives in Geneva, NY)
These are great photos - thanks so much for sharing & linking up to The HSV !! (love lapbooking)

Stef, we didn't go to the museum of fun, but that sounds fun for next time. My sister lives in Penfield, so we go often. The Margaret Strong Museum has a fabulous children's literature gallery - it is amazing! There is so much to do in that area... if it just wasn't so cold I might want to live there! ;-)
Great pics and activities. I have some milk I don't like the taste of. I'll have to look up this color change milk experiment, so I can get rid of it. LOL!
I need to try lapbooking! (I keep putting it off.)
We have done the colors in milk before. The girls loved it!
Thanks for posting the Easter devotional flowerpot. We may have to do something like that this year. It's time to get that kind of thing started!

Great pics-you did better than me narrowing it down LOL
The flower pot idea sounds cool! Do you have post about it or a link? We might try something like that, my kids love crafts.
We went to a butterfly house here in the Texas Hill Country. It was wonderful. The children loved it. I couldn't get them to leave.
One of the best benefits of homeschool is how close it makes the family. My children argue just like other siblings but they enjoy exploring the world together each day. They really do love each other! :)
