Southeastern Homeschool Expo.

Tomorrow, bright and early, my husband and I will be heading to the Southeastern Homeschool Expo. in N. Atlanta. I'm excited to hear some speakers and just be in a "professional development" setting! I wish we could stay for two days, but GMan and Miss B will be performing in swimming shows tomorrow evening. So, looks like we will take in three or four workshops and browse the convention hall. This will be my first expo, so I am wondering what to expect. I'm sure I'll be blogging about it some time over the weekend.

We are also preparing for our summer vacation (better late than never, right?) - upstate New York. We all need a break from our daily routine and will be staying with my sister and her family. Life is pretty good, isn't it?

Hi! Just saw you on Nikowa's blog...I am a long time bloggy friend of hers and I also live in a suburb of Atlanta, just the other way! (north). I am ALSO going to the homeschool expo tomorrow...sort of a date day for me and the hubby. I haven't been since 3 years ago my first time, but my kids were just about to start pre-school and pre-pre-school at home, so a lot of it wasn't really relevant to me at the time. I am SO excited about it this time. I have definite goals and things to look for. Also I printed out the workshop schedule and marked a few I want to sit in on and also looked at the exhibitor list and made a list of booths I don't want to miss. It can be overwhelming, but one thing I remember was bringing home LOADS of brochures, and cool freebies like magnets, pencils, pens, and notepads.
You will have a blast!
