Wednesday - What's for Dinner? Tex-Mex Nachos

I'd like to share another one of my old recipes with you today - it was put in a book for me at a wedding shower of the guests' favorite meals to make. It is a low fat meal, and very easy to prepare!

Tex Mex Nachos

3/4 lb. ground round
1/4 cup sliced green onions
3/4 cup taco sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can no salt whole kernel corn
fat free tortilla chips
3 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup chopped tomato
1 cup low fat sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup fat free sour cream

Cook meat and green onions in a large nonstick skillet. Drain, and return meat to pan. Stir in taco sauce, garlic powder, pepper, corn, and cook until thoroughly heated. Spoon 1 cup meat mixture over 1/2 cup chips, and top with lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa, and sour cream.
