Becoming familiar with Jim Hodges Audio Books has been a tremendous blessing for our family. Listening to audio books on our way to and from co-op, baseball, and running errands has allowed us to make good use of our time AND enjoy that time as well!

A DVD Bible curriculum that is educational, humorous, clever, and catchy... this is what we've been addicted to for the past month!
Phil Vischer, creator of Veggie Tales (I still find myself singing Barbara Manatee on a regular basis, do you?), has done it again and created an awesome resource for training our children in the stories and structure of the Bible.
We've all been giggling, learning, and enjoying Bible history through these DVDs. I'm hoping to be able to purchase more than just the two we have to continue learning about the Bible in the coming year!

Getting Started With Notebooking was such an informative post last week from Jimmie, at The Notebooking Fairy. I hope you had a chance to read and take notes!

If you are wanting more hands on work in your homeschool, with increased retention and a finished product, I would advise you look into notebooking. And, you are like me, and already notebook with your kids, this post spurred you on to do MORE.
