Welcome! My name is Mary. I help parents educate their children at home one day at a time. This site offers LEGO printables, free music lessons, unit studies, and much more. Use the tabs above to discover what Homegrown Learners has to offer. You will be equipped and encouraged to travel a most amazing path in your home!
I'm Speaking for LEGO® Education!
The students this year at Homegrown Learning Academy are Miss B, Fifth Grade, and GMan, First Grade. Rather than get them all dressed up for "formal" pictures, I decided to snap some shots at our favorite place, the ballpark! I'd like you to meet my two favorite children in the world:
Today I am participating in the LENS photo challenge at Home Is Where You Start From. I participated in their black and white photo challenge a couple of months ago (and actually won!). Today's edition requests photos celebrating love.
This photo was taken almost nine years ago - as a Valentine's present for my husband. The little chub on the left is Miss B, and the cherub on the right was our little friend, Johnny. We had the best time getting this photo taken, and I love the resulting shot - I will forever remember this day!
Hope everyone is enjoying a restful Sunday.... we went to a beautiful church service this morning and then daddy treated us to brunch. While in the restaurant it began to POUR down rain, something our area really needs. We're now home and enjoying the lazy, rainy afternoon.
