Snap Circuits in Your Homeschool - On Sale Now!

We have recently acquired two sets of Snap Circuits.

Where oh where has this awesome invention been my entire life?

I remember reading on blogs about the fun kids were having with Snap Circuits. I thought about getting a set one day - but really, did I need to get them?  Didn't we have enough homeschool stuff around here already?

I am going to go out on a limb and say that Snap Circuits may just be one of those things that every homeschooling family should have.

These are going to be an integral part of our science studies this year!

Currently Amazon is having a HUGE SALE... so if you're looking for resources for your homeschool this year, I would snag Snap Circuits NOW.  (You know, I'm not normally a "deal blogger", but this was too good to pass up!)

Currently, they are on sale at Amazon - for GREAT prices - nearly 50% off in some cases.  Explore a little and see if you don't find something that fits your budget and needs for this coming year!

Do you have Snap Circuits?  Tell me about your experience with them!

We love Snap Circuits, hours and hours of educational fun!

We have a rather large set of snap circuits and two smaller sets. Amber uses them, but not really terribly often. She has tons of fun when she does use them, but something has to get her interested first. It's usually a science unit on circuits or electricity. I got a great deal on them too, otherwise they would not really be worth it for us. Not because they aren't wonderful, but because it isn't something Amber will normally pick out to do on her own.

My kids love snap circuits. They are very popular around here.

We just got snap circuits a few months ago - they are so awesome! My kids have put them away for now, but I know when my son gets a little more dexterity he will be excited to work through the projects with mom and dad.

We have had them for a couple of years now. Started with the 100 set, added the 200 set and the 300 set. I love that in addition to buying the full 300 set upfront, for the SAME price you can add to that set, which is what we did because we didn't know if they would sink or swim. Now I am going to go over to Amazon and buy a few sets for Christmas gifts for kids on my list -- thanks, Mary, I like to start Christmas shopping NOW so I can enjoy and relax in December!

We have something very similar in a jr. electrician's kit, but I've been wanting these for ages!
Thanks for the heads up, Mary! Awesome deals!

I hadn't planned to study electricity this coming year, but these look terrific! I'm purchasing the Snap Circuits Jr and will be using in conjunction with the story of electricity videos shared by Homeschool Freebie of the Day site. Thank you for the heads up!

Hi Mary! How did you decide which Snap Circuit kit to purchase? I can't really tell what the differences are between them. My kids are 12 and 10 now, and I have always looked at these at homeschool conventions, but never bought any of them. What do you think would be a good starter kit for this age group or does it matter? :)
