LEGO Education® Minifigures Giveaway

Are you ready for an excellent giveaway?

I'm happy to be partnering with Lego Education® to bring you a set of minifigures that gets a lot of use in our home.

Do your children love minifigures?

My little guy loves them so much I decided to design a Create Your Own Minifigure Printable, Minifigures Printables for Girls and Boys, and also a Language Arts with Minifigs download.

Do your children love history?

Both of my children have an affinity for history. We use The Story of the World as our history spine.

During many lessons my son is building some LEGO creation to go with our chapter. He has also built LEGO Landmarks - as you know the possibilities where LEGO bricks are concerned is very exciting.

Even my sixth grade daughter is enjoying playing with minifigs! (The kids have even started making stop motion videos together with Stop Motion Studio.)

Partnering a Love of Minifigures & History

We recently received the Fairytale and Historic Minifigure set from Lego Education®.

The set contains elements to build 22 minifigures, and also some great accessories to go with them.

My son, Grant, set them all up for a photo shoot:

As you can see, there are historic minifigures like knights and British soldiers, and kings and queens. There are also fairytale minifigures.

*Please note: this set does contain a witch and a wizard. I do not have a problem with these, but am sensitive to the fact that some families may.

I'm pleased to be able to give away one of these sets to a lucky reader (a $49.99 value!). Simply complete the Rafflecopter widget below to enter.  This giveaway will be open until Tuesday, April 30 at midnight!

My boys love to use their imaginations and build with directions. Most often they create planes and spacecraft.

My kids LOVE Legos!
When we are doing school if there is a project, they find a way to incorporate Legos.
Last year, my Highschooler did a PowerPoint presentation on the History of Legos. This year, both of them worked on sets for a Lego Hamlet.
Legos make you Smart. ;)

That's a super cool set! My boys have been using their weekly "commission" (Dave Ramsey plan!) to purchase minifigs for 3 weeks now! They would be elated with this set! My oldest (6) just used his "rest time" yesterday to make a minifig Lego brick creation, then he wrote a story about it! :)

Yes! My son is constantly bringing me parts to build a surprise, random minifig. He would love to have more elements to draw from!

LEGO's are a BIG part of my family! My son has such a great imagination and plays with his Lego's every chance he gets! We also use The Story of The World and love your idea of recreating the historic figures. We would LOVE to have this set!!! Thanks so much for this opportunity!

My hubby plays with the ones he has with Teddy since he's too little to play with them by himself, but it's usually boat, train or fire truck oriented :)

Our Lego mini figs seem to travel where ever the kids go. Small enough for an instant adventure anywhere.

My kids just saw this link on Facebook and brought me to your blog so I could enter this contest. They were proclaiming in very animated voices that they MUST have this collection!!! "Oh, the things we could do with this" they exclaimed. We would be very happy to win this giveaway.

My kids adore Legos, especially my boys. I love sending them off to play with something constructive while I continue homeschooling my older daughter. It's amazing what their imaginations allow them to do. We are a Classical Conversations family and getting ready to study Cycle 2 next year which is Medieval History. This set looks like a great way to enhance that study! Mini figures are the cream de la cream of the Lego world in my children's eyes! :)

I would be in big trouble if I didn't enter to win this!! :)

My boys play all sorts of things with their minifigures. They love to play soldiers, of varying sorts.
