Scripture Lullabies - A Beautiful Way to Hide Scripture in Your Heart

I love being able to share resources with you that will truly ENHANCE the lives of your children.

Several months ago I found out about Hidden in My Heart, scripture lullabies, and even though I don't have "babies" anymore, we have all been enjoying this music.

It has been playing throughout our school day, when the kids are getting ready for bed at night, and in the car. I love the little "lightbulb" looks they give me when they so clearly know the scripture that is embedded in each song.

Beautiful.

*I have been given this product to review and am also receiving financial compensation. I'm a tough music critic, and wouldn't endorse this product unless I LOVED it. These CDs get two thumbs up from me!

About Scripture Lullabies

Listen to this lullaby while you read the rest of the post...

Produced by Breakaway Music, each CD saturates its listeners in God's word.

In fact, Breakaway Music  "wants kids to have a relationship with Jesus."

Hidden in My Heart, Volume 1 consists of 12 songs. Each song is scriptural and peaceful.

You can listen to a little of each lullaby ~ I know you will love them!

Hidden in My Heart, Volume 2 also consists of 12 songs.

You are also able to preview these songs as well.

{I hear there is a Volume 3 coming out soon, too!}

Download a free song by clicking the "Free Lullabies" tab at the top.

Why We Love Scripture Lullabies

If you couldn't already tell, this is one of my favorite music resources!

These recordings have such a peaceful, calming effect on my home, not to mention the scriptural basis for each song.

The voices used on the recordings are pleasant and some of the best I've heard in children's music. So often, children's music can sound "canned", but Scripture Lullabies are authentic and the instrumentation is beautiful.

Each lullaby is firmly rooted in scripture, so it gives your children an opportunity to hide God's word in their hearts. It also brings God's word to children in a way that speaks to them best - through MUSIC.

I have purchased a set of these CDs to give as a baby gift to a friend of ours who is expecting, and this will become my standard baby gift for some time to come!

Jenny had a Casting Crowns lullabies CD when she was a baby that she and David have both enjoyed over the years. I would love these CDs for Chris. What a great way to hide God's Word in your child's heart from birth!

I am always looking for ways to get scripture not only in to my kids ears but trapped in their heart. I love hearing them recite bible verses. This looks like a wonderful way to get them singing it aswell.

I sang a variety of songs while he was a baby. Music is always something I consider important. But I didn't use CDs much until he was a toddler.

Music has always been huge in my daughter's life! We started Kindermusik when she was 6 months old. (The teacher lives next door, so she was very encouraging! :) ) Music and lullabies made so much of a difference in her mood. We always had some sort of lullabies going when she was little. These sound like they would be wonderful to listen to during our school day. Thanks for the chance to win!

We have lovely classical lullaby CDs that we have enjoyed listening to over the years. These songs are just so soothing, with truth being sung throughout. Would love to add them to our collection.

My daughter (4) has a lullaby CD she falls asleep to. : ) I think my son (6) would actually still benefit also--his CD player broke, and we just didn't replace it. This would certainly entice me to do that! Also, calming music is really helpful to the kids.

Our oldest child was born at 26 weeks and listened to the Third Day lullaby CD every night in the NICU. It's now her sister's music for naps. :) It's so sweet when Addie recognizes the tune of a Third Day song on K-Love now.

We've been listening to the lullaby you posted and it's so beautiful. I'd love to win these!

They had several CDs that they listedened too when younger. Now we sing hymns or Christmas carols (year 'round!) to them at bedtime.

My kiddos have always liked lullabies and praise songs. It's a great combination. :)

With my first I played them, but I think he needs it now at 12 years old even more! He needs something from distracting his mind from thinking to much.

My kids grew up listening to Sleep Sound in Jesus by Michael Card. These CDs are like an updated version of that CD! Love the peaceful melodies. Also, the orchestration is impressive. Have a houseful of violinists and they are impressed!

I mostly sing them, not listen to them.
