Great Homeschool Convention Giveaway

The single best investment we made in our homeschool last year was a family trip to The Great Homeschool Convention in Greenville, SC.
The weekend was packed with learning, fun, and so much laughter. It inspired me at a time when I desparately needed inspiration. It also inspired my husband and helped equip HIM in his role of supporting me as a homeschooling mom.

We will be attending the Great Homeschool Convention again this year - March 20-22 in Greenville. I can't wait, because Dr. Benjamin Carson, Heidi St. John, Todd Wilson (and many others!) will be speaking!

Greenville is also a favorite destination of ours. If you live in the southeast, you might want to consider a family vacation to Greenville, with a stop at The Great Homeschool Convention!
Last year we met a sweet young lady from our church (a recent Furman graduate) who lives in Greenville. We went to dinner in downtown Greenville, and then she gave us the grand tour. Falls Park is beautiful - we're looking forward to returning (for her wedding!) in January, and then again for the convention in March.
Of course, if you don't live near Greenville you can also choose from the Cincinnati, OH and Ontario, CA conventions as well. (I've also heard they have a TEXAS convention coming soon!)

I have never attended a conference or convention but I would like to know that we know we are in this for the long haul and will be homeschooling high school. I would LOVE to hear Dr. Carson speak. Did you bring the kids? I can't remember. The only way I could see this happening (either in OH or NC) would be to go as a family.....
Yes, I've been to a couple of conventions and I always feel inspired afterwards. This looks like a great convention!

I went last year to Cinci...So VERY INSPIRING esp for a new homeschool family like ours. I think this year I would get so much more from it as now I would actually know what I'm looking at and need! Loved Kirk Martin and Cathy Duffy last year and so many more!
I haven't been to GHC, but have been to another convention and really enjoyed it.

I have attended Cincy in the past. Would love to go back next year as we are preparing for middle school grades and changing our method of schooling.
I missed the one in Long Beach CA two years ago because of a conflict. None close by last year so I am waiting with anticipation for the one here in Cali in the spring. It is just up the freeway from me so that adds a bit more excitement!
I was able to attend the GHC in Long Beach two years ago. It was my first convention and changed our lives!

I have not attended their conference, but I was hoping to attend the one in Nashville next March. I'm still trying to convince my dear husband that it would be worth the money so winning a giveaway would really help my case! Thanks for offering this.
I have not attended GHC in the past, but I have been to a couple of smaller, state ones. I really want to attend the one in Greenville.
I plan on going in March. We are moving from Louisiana to Raleigh, NC next month so I can't wait. I will have two high school homeschoolers next year so I could definitely use some inspiration!!

We have been to a GHC and enjoyed it very much! We returned home with a much needed second wind to help us complete our school year.
