Our Dear Little Shamrocks
Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 5:00AM
Miss B loves to work in the kitchen. I showed her this project from Pinterest and she did the rest... I think the shamrocks turned out pretty cute.
If you decide to make these little goodies, we put the kiss-topped pretzels in the oven for five minutes at 200 degrees. This was just enough time for them to be melty... then stick the three green M&Ms in... put in the refrigerator to firm up and then use icing for the stem.
EASY!
She wants to deliver these treats to some neighbors, so we found a shamrock poem (The Dear Little Shamrock) and colored the shamrock and personalized it a bit more.
This poem will serve as copywork this week as well.

Hopefully we'll be doing more St. Patrick's Day activities this week (I'm getting all of them from here).

We make those yummies at Christmas every year. LOVE THEM!!! And, I love when you have a seasonal poem that you can use as copywork. We did that with the Irish Blessing. Have a wonderful GREEN week!
So cute! I love these. Almost want to run out to the store right now and get the supplies!

there goes my diet!!
lol.
Pretzels and chocolate are a favorite combo of mine--here is a secret, I have a secret stash of chocolate chips and sometimes I eat a handful with a pretzel!
M & Ms are my favorite candy! Peanut especially! yeah baby!
What a great idea! My youngest (he's 7) is looking over my shoulder and he just said "Oh hey look, the green ones are my favorite so that means I *have* to make them!" (like it was fate or something, lol)
These will be a great treat to make on Friday, to give out to some friends that are spending the weekend with us this weekend. I am going to snag that poem as well...too cute!
Thanks again! :)

Mary I love these and so does Keilee. Tell Miss B she did a marvelous job!!
Marvelous fun! Yep, I am coming to your house! I'll bring my kids, too.
This is so cute! We have made something similar in the past for Valentine's Day. My only complaint is that they are way too easy to eat :)
