LOVE-ly Ideas

Valentine's Day is just two weeks away.  In preparation, I've been decorating a bit and planning Valentine activities with my children.   Most of my ideas have come from Pinterest (you can see all my favorites here), but others I'm pulling out of my memory and files from my days as a public school teacher, too.

I'm very excited to tell you about a special February event.   My friend Meghan, from The Tuckers Take Tennessee,  and I will be hosting a month long blog hop called "LOVE-ly Ideas".

Have you been Pinning a lot of wonderful Valentine crafts, recipes, and decorating ideas?  Or, maybe you are creative all on your own and have come up with some fun activities.

Meghan and I want to see your "LOVE-ly Ideas"!

Come link up!   Here is how it will work:

1.  Blog about your favorite Valentines craft, activity, recipe, or idea.  {Make sure you link to this blog-hop and/or grab the button code (in my sidebar) to share in your sidebar or post to spread the word}.

2.  Come link with us!  This blog-hop will be open the entire month of February so you have time to share your ideas before and after Valentines Day.  You can make one big post about different ideas or link up multiple times with each project/activity/recipe/idea you create.

*Ideas can come from your own creative brain or from any other source... please be sure to give credit where it is due in your post.

3.  Most important, HAVE FUN and visit as many entries as you can from this blog-hop.  I know you'll find lots of "LOVE-ly Ideas".

Here's a little inspiration.... I re-pinned this idea several weeks ago, and did it myself last week.   I love it because it was quick, easy, and CUTE.  It was as simple as glass container I already owned and Valentine candy corn... I modified the idea a bit from the original.

Or, how about this quick and easy idea for quiet reading time?  I'll give these out one day this week during D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read)! {Here's the pin that was the inspiration!}

My daughter is planning to make something special for her friends for Valentine's Day.... and I want to do this for my children the night before Valentine's Day.

Meghan and I can't wait to see what everyone will share... so start spreading the LOVE and link up soon!
