L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge - Physical Education
Physical Education is one of the best parts of our day - and if my six year old, especially, doesn't get it every day, we are SUNK! Warmer month activities consist of biking, swimming, baseball, basketball, tennis, and general games outside. Cold weather activities are usually limited to the YMCA - swimming and basketball, and some running on the track. You can read a little more about PE here.
Here's a picture of my little guy, practicing a ball bouncing rhyme we learned:
(and, as a bonus, you can go to the Googles books page and see the book it came from and the exact rhyme - it was a big hit with my kids, and so so simple!)

The bouncing rhythm sounds like alot of fun. My boys have inherited their daddy's lack of rhythm, so I try my best to help them learn a beat. :) Thanks for the link. And, if your husband needs any particulars on a zipline, just let me know and I'll ask mine and pass along the answers.
Considering our weather, that doesn't look like a recent picture! Love reading about your homeschool adventures.
Cheryl -- what gave it away? The shorts and the green grass? This was taken at the beginning of the school year!
My daughters and I just love rhyming songs. I can't wait to teach these to the girls.
Love the picture of your son trying so hard!
That's a cool picture!
We quit our Y membership since we haven't been getting there consistently, but I'm thinking we need to start it up again especially for winter months... :)
Love it! :)
nice photo! The bouncing to rhymes is such a great idea, thanks for sharing!
