Wednesday - What's for Dinner - Chicken and Dumplings

I have been making this recipe for years.... I'm not really making it tonight, but I did make it last night. Tonight is frozen pizza night, but I knew a real dinner sounded much more exciting.

Yesterday I put this is in the crockpot during quiet time (generally 2:00-3:30 in our house) and let it cook all afternoon. I give piano lessons on Tuesday afternoons, so the house smelled good as students were coming and going. After a long practice at the ballfield, my husband and children walked in the door at 7:30 and I had a hearty meal on the table that was finished quite quickly!

I'll just give you the link, because this Chicken and Dumpings recipe is from Allrecipes.com. I do add 1/2 a bag of frozen veggies (I used peas and carrots) to satisfy the green requirement!
