Weekly Scripture Memorization - Using Our Box

Last week I blogged about making our Charlotte Mason scripture memorization box. I've been very pleased with how it has worked out, and I'd like to link up with Mom's Mustard Seeds again this week to share our daily verse of the week. In this scripture memorization system there is one tab in the the file box that says "daily".... and we say this verse each day (in addition to three other verses which vary each day).

Be still, and know that I am God.

Psalm 46:10

Wow - what a short verse! What a powerful verse, though - and how often are we not STILL when it comes to knowing God? My children and I have been talking about that this week and it's been an interesting conversation. I really hope you try out the Charlotte Mason system of Bible verse memorization. I know you will love it!

I love the way God can use the small things, those things we feel are small....he takes them and makes them bigger than life! Blessings and thanks so much for this post....it is a great verse...full of wisdom!
