It's Just a State of Being

Learning all about state of being verbs with First Language Lessons!

Gotta love an activity where we can incorporate our whole body to learn a concept!

Here's the cute poem from the book:

Am

Is

Are Was Were.

Be 

Being

Been.

Imagine it with a steady beat, with a clap at the end of each line - put two claps at the very end.  Oh, and a friend of mine suggested putting a big "Oooo!" on the end, too!

Here's GMan's rendition!  He reminds me a bit of one of those toy monkeys that claps their hands with the cymbals!  

He told me afterwards that he thinks he'll remember the state of being verbs "forever!".   I LOVE IT!
