LEGO Education® Minifigures Giveaway

Are you ready for an excellent giveaway?

I'm happy to be partnering with Lego Education® to bring you a set of minifigures that gets a lot of use in our home.

Do your children love minifigures?

My little guy loves them so much I decided to design a Create Your Own Minifigure Printable, Minifigures Printables for Girls and Boys, and also a Language Arts with Minifigs download.

Do your children love history?

Both of my children have an affinity for history. We use The Story of the World as our history spine.

During many lessons my son is building some LEGO creation to go with our chapter. He has also built LEGO Landmarks - as you know the possibilities where LEGO bricks are concerned is very exciting.

Even my sixth grade daughter is enjoying playing with minifigs! (The kids have even started making stop motion videos together with Stop Motion Studio.)

Partnering a Love of Minifigures & History

We recently received the Fairytale and Historic Minifigure set from Lego Education®.

The set contains elements to build 22 minifigures, and also some great accessories to go with them.

My son, Grant, set them all up for a photo shoot:

As you can see, there are historic minifigures like knights and British soldiers, and kings and queens. There are also fairytale minifigures.

*Please note: this set does contain a witch and a wizard. I do not have a problem with these, but am sensitive to the fact that some families may.

I'm pleased to be able to give away one of these sets to a lucky reader (a $49.99 value!). Simply complete the Rafflecopter widget below to enter.  This giveaway will be open until Tuesday, April 30 at midnight!

My nine year old son can play with Legos for hours! A special teacher that taught a Lego class at out homeschool coop sparked even more of a desire to be creative during his play time with Legos! Gotta love those special teachers!

Fun! My boys love to set up various types of battles. They are often involving Star Wars characters (both actual Star Wars minifigs and other minifigs imagined to be Star Wars characters). They also love to "mix and match", creating funny things like Yoda's head on a police officer body, or things like that. :-)

My boys LOVE Legos and we have already incorporated some of your ideas into our homeschool days. This set looks like an awesome addition!

My 7yr-old grandson plays for hours using Legos for math skill, plays Legos for some reading as well. He has also used them for hours in play and can put together even he most advaneced sets. His fine motor skills are also something notable with Legos. In addition, I love Mary Prather and think I have pinned everything she has done, LOL. Ok, maybe not but I injoy and appreciate everything she has to offer. Thank You very much.

Most of the legos in our home belong to hubby. :) But he is often more than willing to use them for a history lesson with the kids-pirate ship, seige tower, pyramid, etc

My son would LOVE this set. I would love to add this to our homeschool classroom. Thanks for the chance to win

I have 4 boys, ages 4 - 12, and Lego guys are a huge part of our lives. They have elaborate "Lego games" that they have made up and "set ups" abound throughout our house. "Can I clean up everything but my Lego game?" is a standard question at chore time. This set would be cherished and/or fought over for years to come.
