Music appreciation is one of those areas that gets pushed to last place (or sometimes no place at all) in many homeschools.

Over the past year I have tried to help families incorporate BEAUTIFUL music into their days.

Super Quiet UnInterrupted Listening Time (SQUILT) is a music appreciation curriculum that is designed to make teaching music easy, fun, and meaningful.

Each SQUILT volume consists of 10 lessons. Each lesson highlights a piece of music and includes all information you will need to learn about that piece in depth. It includes notebooking pages, supplemental listening links, and fun activities. The best thing?

All you need to complete a SQUILT lesson is an internet connection and basic school supplies.

Currently, two volumes are available:  Baroque Era and Classical Era.  These volumes can easily coincide with your homeschool history studies. Or, you can choose to use them as a stand alone curriculum.

The Romanic Era volume is coming soon -- very soon!

To find out more, and to take advantage of the special winter sale, visit the SQUILT website. Here you can view lesson samples, read testimonials, and hopefully have all of your questions answered.

Both volumes of SQUILT are on sale for 30% off the list price - but just for ONE WEEK.  {Use the code WINTER at checkout for the discount to apply.} This makes each volume $6.29... that's just 62 cents per lesson!

What's stopping you from studying great music with your kids?  Give SQUILT a try!
