Oh my.  The LEGO learning possibilities are endless.

Enter LEGO candy bricks.

They are the same size as LEGO bricks and they stack just like the bricks, too.

These little candies are great for teaching about addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.

The possibilities are endless, really.

LEGO Math Ideas

While I just kind of made up my own thing with my son (he is learning his times tables and basic fractions right now), there are some helpful links out there.

What about this video, made by some Fifth Graders.  Cool.  My son likes it because they blow stuff up.  Go figure.

Of course, after all of learning (ummmm, playing) is done, your child can just free build with their LEGO Candy Blocks.

Most excellent.

I love LEGO, don't you?
