The day has finally arrived.
Ecuador, here I come!
Our team will be distributing boxes in schools, churches, and orphanages in and around Quito, Ecuador.
In my mind I think I know what this will look like, but in reality I just know I am expecting hugs, smiles, blessings, and many mixed emotions.
This week, the rubber band bracelets have been flooding in from all over the country! Each time a package arrives on my front steps and I see the HUNDREDS of bracelets children have been making for the children in Ecuador, my tears start flowing.
The GOODNESS of children is such a blessing.
If you want to follow along with me, get your children involved and learn about Ecuador!
Ecuador is on Eastern Standard Time and uses the US Dollar. It's about a 4 1/2 hour plane ride from Miami to Quito.
Right now it's the rainy season in Quito, with average temperatures being in the 60s and 70s.
Situated in the Andes Mountains, Quito is one of the highest capital cities in the world (it's 2 miles above sea level) and is about 25 miles south of the equator.

Operation Christmas Child does such amazing work all around the globe, and I am honored to play a small role in delivering shoeboxes and spreading the love of Christ this Christmas season on their behalf.

I covet your prayers for safe travel, grace, and peace for all who will distribute boxes. Pray also for the hearts of children to be opened to the love of Christ through these boxes.
God is good - all time time!
