Mary Prather in Tommy Mommy reviews

I'm so excited to tell you about our first review for Tommy Nelson Publishing.   Being a Tommy Mommy is going to be a wonderful experience, I can tell.   Everything I had ever gotten from Tommy Nelson was wonderful, and now I have the chance to share wonderful homeschooling (and otherwise!) resources with you.

We received The Young American Patriot’s Bible – The Word of God and the Heroes that Shaped America for review.  This Bible, inspired by the best selling American Patriot's Bible (also edited by Dr. Richard G. Lee) is in the New King James Version.  It includes a concordance and several color maps at the end.

Other important information:

*Full text in New King James Version with 64 color pages of articles that focus on the heroes that shaped America.

*Helps kids develop an appreciation for God’s Word and how it helped shape our country.  Biographies of American heroes are interspersed throughout the Bible.

The biggest thing I appreciate about this Bible is how to it shows my children that our country's earliest leaders RELIED ON GOD'S WISDOM AND GRACE to create the country we live in today.  Considering that the Bible is almost never mentioned by today's leaders, this was a refreshing (and needed) perspective on American Government.

It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible  ~ George Washington

...we do very well to recall our 'firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence,' to give thanks for the freedom and prosperity this nation enjoys, and to pray for continued help and guidance from our wise and loving Creator.  ~ George W. Bush

I encourage you to visit the Tommy Nelson - Raising Faithful Kids website and see all of the wonderful resources they have to offer. You will find free goodies among other things!!

If you are looking for a Bible for your children that will also teach them about Godly American heroes, I highly recommend The Young American Patriot's Bible!

Disclaimer: I received the above named product from Tommy Nelson Publishing (as a Tommy Mommy) in return for my honest review. I have not been compensated in any other form.
